The college students, along with Marasco and fellow organizer, GBS sophomore Drew Duffy, stated they're helping applicants Bruce Doughty (contemporary president), Michelle Seguin, Matt O'Hara and Peter Glowacki (contemporary vice president) for the Glenbrook District 225 Board of Education on April 6. The organizers stated those applicants are supportive of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ college students and issues. Seguin spoke on the rally.
